Hartlepool creative writing group Wordlab is looking for new members.

The group, which meets every Friday at Lynnfield Centre, gets together to share advice, inspiration and support. According to a spokesperson for the group, "We hone our creativity with writing exercises, and also bring in local poets and writers for workshops. Support is a key aspect of the group."

Wordlab is holding a free open night this Friday (14 September) at Lynnfield Centre with wine and cheese. There will be a short introduction, readings from members, then a time to chat to us and mingle with other people attending. And they would be delighted to see some new faces.

Regular Friday night meetings are from 7pm-9pm, with a nominal £2 fee for to cover costs of room rental.
