News - Creative writers needed for Re:think project

HMP Frankland (near Durham) and its writer-in-residence, Harry Palmer, have received an Arts Council England North East award aimed to encourage a wider range of creative skills and interests amongst its prisoners. The Re:think programme is looking for creative writers and artists in the following areas:

  • Short story telling
  • Short story writing
  • Radio producer/writer
  • Clowning/comedy person
  • Singer-songwriter
  • Graphic illustrator/designer

Re:think is aimed at encouraging opportunities for creative writers, musicians and artists/designers who wish to expand their practice within the wider criminal justice system.
