The School of English is developing a series of research projects, courses, outreach activities and regional links in the area of Creative Writing. It jointly sponsors, with Bloodaxe Books, The Newcastle/Bloodaxe Poetry Lectures and hosts, jointly with the University of Durham, The North East Literary Fellowship which is currently held by Colette Bryce and which was previously held by Colin Teevan.
